When applying for your UK student visa, the following are what you need.

Valid passport:

Biometrics:
When you submit your visa application, you will be asked to make an appointment at a visa application center to complete your fingerprints and a photo. Nigerians are to book through TLS contact in either Lagos or Abuja.

English Proficiency:
The UK will require you to take a government-approved Secure English Language (SELT) for your student visa applications, However, some academic institutions often make their language assessment based on the qualifications you submit to the school.

Financial Capacity:
If you have received sponsorship for your course fees and living costs over the past 12 months, you will need written consent for your visa application from your financial sponsor. If this isn’t you, depending on your home country, you will need to show proof you will be able to support yourself within 28 days of the 31 days of when you submitted your visa application.

Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies:
So exciting! But make sure you keep this handy for your student visa application. Along with your unconditional offer, a reference number will arrive with this, which you will submit with your visa application.

Tuberculosis Tests:
You will need to book an appointment with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for your tuberculosis test and a fee is applied for it. Also for non-Nigerians, you need to check from your home country.
